These prints displayed in a 9 grid frame, are mono prints that can take months or years to finish due to the way I work.. The process starts with printing whatever is on my screen at the time, in different colours and papers, and japanese tissue papers , gold leaf and whatever i have around at the time. I continue to print over and over in a very organic way, not planningthe final outcome. Playing with pattern and how the fragmented imagery unfolds to tell a story or capture a mood. Once I feel that I have achieved this I then place all these pieces together to see if a story emerges or a moment in time has been captured or a feeling evoked. The final artwork is then mounted and framed. This process is my favorite as I never know where its going to end up and allows me to be experimental and adventurous with my work. Screen printing is a tooland not a strict discipline for me.
